Comprehensive Media Buying Guide & Attribution Standards
CPM (Cost per Mille) calculates the cost per 1,000 ad impressions across all currencies (USD, EUR, GBP): CPM = (Spend / Impressions) * 1,000. Alternatively, expected budget calculates as Spend = (Impressions / 1,000) * CPM, and required reach as Impressions = (Spend / CPM) * 1,000.
Video ad specs and bitrate guide
Choose a video format preset and a maximum file weight and the tool calculates the target resolution, aspect ratio and bitrate, based on your video's duration. Processing happens locally in your browser.
Aspect ratios
16:9 (1920x1080) is standard for connected TV and in-stream. 9:16 (1080x1920) fits Stories, Reels and short-form feeds. 1:1 (1080x1080) works for feeds. Delivering the wrong ratio usually leads to black bars or automatic cropping.
How bitrate and file weight relate
File size is roughly bitrate multiplied by duration. A 15-second video capped at 5 MB can use about 2.6 Mbps in total, including audio. Shorter clips and simpler footage compress better, so trim your edit before lowering quality.
Before you upload
Export as MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio, which is accepted almost everywhere, and confirm the length and size limits of each platform.
